Born: July 6, 2009,  bred by us, from: (s) Pikachu-Brown of Fundy Bay's Naïad (Ch.IB, Ch.Swiss Vet., Trialer) and (d) Swallowsflight Javeline-Jetblack (Ch.IB, Ch.Swiss, Trialer)
Registered with the Retriever Club de France. He is free from problems with hips (A/A), knees (free), elbows (0) end eyes (free, including goniodysplasia).
He is black and carries the liver color (genetic code: BbEE). Genetic identification available.

In 2011, Elwood has obtained a CAC at the Nationale Lémanique of RCF-GR, in classe intermédiaire, Montricher (CH), 01.05.11 (j. Y. Jaussi),
and a CAC/(R)CACIB at the Esposizione Internazionale di Torino (I), 04.06.11 (j. M. Ceccarelli).
First field-trials: qualified excellent in two of his first five competitions. With these results, Elwood met the requirements for:
- the title of Trialer (à la française) (awarded on 26.12.11)
- the rank of recommended stud dog of the RCF (étalon récommandé - 4 pts.) with top qualifications both on beauty and work (like his mother).

In 2012, Elwood was classified 6^thand 4^th out of 17 dogs in classe initiation in his first working tests (organized by ASUR, St. Christol).
He obtained a RCAC at the Nationale Lémanique of RCS-GR (j. F. Fluegel), was classified Excellent 3^rd at the Nationale d'Elevage RCF, Fontainebleau (j. J. Irvine), and obtained the CACS/RCACIB at the international show of Macon (j. R. Soulat).
Field-trial season 2012-2013: Excellent 2^nd and 1^st in St. Christol, Excellent 1^st CACT in Le Plantay, Excellent 2^nd RCACT in Annoisin-Chatelans.

In 2013, CAC and best working FCR at the Nationale Lémanique 2013 of RCS-GR (j. Th. Schmidt).
CAC/CACIB and CAC (CU) at the International Show in St. Gallen (CH), (j. T. Jakkel and B. Lundgren). With these results,
- the title of Champion Suisse de Beauté has been awarded on 5/5/13.
- the title of Champion International de Beauté has been awarded on 14/8/13.

In 2014, CACT in field trial à la Française, and now competing in open class (à la anglaise).
- the title of Champion de Travail à la Française has been awarded on 28/10/14.
Elwood is our first dog winning a championship in Field Trial, our first dual-champion. At this time, he may be the only FlatCoated male with a work championship, alive and resident in France.

In 2017, he is Excellent 1^st at the Nationale d'Elevage RCF, Aubigny-sur-Nère (j. A. Thioloy), and obtains the title of Champion de France Vétéran.
In 2018, Excellent 1^st several times in Switzerland and Champion de Suisse Vétéran.

Puppies: whelps in kennels du Mas de Mailys (France), Roc de Tougne (France), Peggie-Dawn (Italy) and Mas de Mailys (France).

Very sadly, Elwood has left us on December 23, 2018, after a short illness.
